Dear parents / whānau / caregivers

Firstly I want to thank you all for your trust and aroha in us, for allowing your tamariki to return to school in such an unprecedented time. Their health & wellbeing are of utmost importance to us as we try to bring normality back to their schooling lives.

Our first week in alert level 2 has run smoothly with your support and as we move into our second week we are confident that our protocols will continue to support your children and keep them safe.

Next week there will be no staggered start and finish times as we will move into our normal timetable. However we still encourage parents / whānau to leave students at the front gate  and they will make their way to their classroom. Those in vehicles will still be able to drive up to the office gate (stay in vehicle) and students will head to their classrooms. Remember however if you come into school grounds (walkers) you must sign our contact tracing form at the office, this is non-negotiable. We also encourage parents / whānau not to hang outside classrooms before or after school until the alert levels change.

We are encouraging all our students to return back to school and that all precautions are in place to keep students safe. However, if your child is unwell or sick please keep them home

Please continue to stay well informed through the Covid-19 updates. Schools are safe to return, but if you are still apprehensive please contact us and we are happy to answer any questions you have about what we are doing to make school safe for your child.

Regards
