Monday 8 June – Moving to Level 1

Dear parents, caregivers & whanau

I want to express my gratitude, love and appreciation for your patience and kindness as we moved into level 2 several weeks ago.

Today our Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern has just announced that New Zealand will move to level 1 midnight tonight.

Manual sign in and leaving your child at the school gate is no longer required, however we are asked as a nation that businesses use the QR scanning code as a way to track your whereabouts. Our school has this set up and can be used if required.

So this means that all students need to return to school, arrive on time and picked up on time. Parents are now able to come into school grounds and visit our child’s classroom. We no longer need to stagger pick ups after school so students will be released at the end of day 2.45pm.

So as a reminder here are our school times:

  • 8.55am start time
  • 2.45pm finish time

For optimal learning  and wellbeing please ensure students are at school on time and picked up on time.

Again thank you for your ongoing support and care for our school.

Much Aroha
