Auckland Moving to Alert Level 2 Sunday 7 March from 6am

Today our Prime Minister, Jacinda Ardern announced that due to no further community cases in recent days that Auckland will be moving back to Alert Level 2, from 6am on Sunday 7 March.

We therefore look forward to welcoming all of you back onsite from Monday 8 March.

We ask that if your child is unwell please keep them home. We have covered all water drinking fountains as a health precaution and ask that all children bring their own water bottles to school.

Alert Level 2 still has some restrictions for our school with the main one being that children should be not breathing on or touching each other, as much as practicable. Students do not need to wear a face mask, however, if they feel safe with wearing one, this is good practice.

At all times, please continue to scan QR codes and monitor closely for illness within your whānau. When entering the school office QR codes will need to be used or manually complete the form at the front desk.

To lessen the mass numbers entering and existing the school grounds, we ask the following:

  • Any parent walking children to school please drop off and pick up at the gate
  • Any parent driving children to and from school please stay in your vehicle and a staff member will assist
  • Once children enter school they must go directly to their classroom
  • Afternoon vehicle pick-ups will begin at 2.15pm again please stay in your vehicle and staff will assist

Our focus as always will be to support the learning, safety and wellbeing of our rangatahi and tamariki and we continue to be here to support you as well.

Please don’t hesitate to contact your child’s Kaiako / teacher or me, if there is something you need assistance with.

Ngā mihi
