Kia ora koutou Katoa

I trust all is well with you in your ‘bubble’.  It is so encouraging to see all the online learning from our Tamariki. We cannot wait until things go back to normal where we are able to interact and engage with each other in person.

Hopefully, next week we may move to Alert Level 3. In Alert Level 3, most of our students will continue to learn from home.  The Delta variant is highly transmissible and contagious and we know it can affect children.

However, schools and early learning services are open for all children in years 0-10 whose parents or carers need to go to work and there is no alternative person who can supervise them. When we do move down to Alert level 3, your child’s teacher will be in contact with you to enquire if your child will be at school during Alert level 3.

Please note that Countdown on Brown’s Road is a Point of Interest: Tuesday 7 September and Thursday 9 September between 12:00 pm and 12:30 pm.

For now, while we still remain at Alert Level 4, please look after yourselves – stay home, stay safe and If you or your child feels unwell or have any symptoms, please go and get a COVID test.

Please feel free to contact me if you have any concerns.

Ngā mihi nui

Mrs. Rao
