Nau mai, haere mai to 2026. Thank you for your ongoing support and for attending our recent Student Learning Conferences. At Homai School, we are committed to seeing your child thrive. To help your child stay on track and feel confident in their learning, regular attendance is essential. We believe that “Attendance Matters”—attending today is the key to succeeding tomorrow. The Ministry of Education has set an attendance target of 80%, and we will be sharing more detailed guidelines with you soon. FRIDAY 24TH NOVEMBER is TEACHER ONLY DAY. This means our school will be CLOSED for instructions on this day.
Hybrid learning from home. Please check your child’s class site
The purpose of the TEACHER ONLY DAY will be for staff professional development with the NZ Curriculum refresh (a requirement for all schools in Aotearoa, with individual schools opting to hold them at a time that suits their needs.)
Please ensure you have organised supervision for your child/ren this Friday.
